How the workshop goes

  1. 01

    Arrival

    Please arrive about five minutes before the start. We will show you to your seat and walk you through the day.

  2. 02

    Meet the materials

    Handle several raw materials — sandalwood, cassia and more — and get to know how each one smells.

  3. 03

    Choose your scent

    Compare a few scents and settle on the blend you like best. If you are torn, just ask.

  4. 04

    Blend and shape

    Knead your chosen materials together and shape them into incense by hand, one step at a time.

  5. 05

    Finishing

    Tidy up the shapes you have made. Feel free to take photographs of the finished pieces.

  6. 06

    Take it home

    You leave with the incense you made on the day. If a piece needs longer to dry, we will let you know.

During the workshop

  • We work with natural aromatic materials. If you are sensitive to scent, pregnant, or have allergies, please let us know beforehand.
  • The venue and programme may change if circumstances require it.

Cancellations and changes

  • To cancel or change your booking, reply to your confirmation email or message us on LINE.
  • Whether a cancellation fee applies is still being decided. We will update this once it is settled.

Yes. We guide you through each step, and most guests are making incense for the first time.
